"Don't Worry, Be Happy"

"Mustard" yellow-gold is my favorite color because it evokes a vintage nostalgia of the 1960's and 70's while maintaing an exciting and positive feeling. With this happy color, I paired gold accessories including a vintage bejeweled pendent that resembles an animal tooth, a gold Ralph Lauren necklace under my collar, a ribbon for a belt, and a lovely and colorful bangle from Francesca's. Colorful menswear-inspired tights that look like a men's tie in a tacky yet wonderful way from Simple Vera Wang at Kohl's add another pop of color to the look. A simple flared skirt and my mom's old prarie boots complete the outfit Between the collared shirt, tie-printed tights, and androgynous boots I feel like this look is masculine with fun feminine accents that I added. It's a perfect "transitioning to spring" ensemble with a light jacket thrown on top!
