"Little Darling, It's Been A Long Cold Lonely Winter"

On the first day of Spring, I journeyed to the highline with one of my oldest friends. While the gardens on the west side park hadn't begun to bloom yet, it was still nice enough weather to wear a light coat and sweater! Layering is important when the season turns to spring and the weather is nice in the afternoon but cool in the evening.  I love this rose scarf that my boyfriend gave me because it is red and green in a fresh, non Christmas-y way, and picking out the colors from it for my other pieces is fun. I matched a red necklace and sweater, and green earrings with the scarf. A tidy hairstyle is also key when the spring winds blow along the rivers!

Style tip: Try pulling your accessories from a scarf in your closet!
