"When I Met You In The Summer..."

I said goodbye to my beloved roof in Gramercy with one last photoshoot! Though my apartment there was the tiniest, most unpleasant one that I hope I'll ever live in, I had some great times there for a year. Also, the roof had a to die for, close-up view of the one and only Empire State Building. I am excited to now live in Queens just a few stops from the city, though, and get a much better deal and place for about the same price!

This is an outfit I would wear out at night to a semi-casual place such as a dance bar in Brooklyn, or a casual club in LES. The beautiful yellow Roberto Cavalli piece was one I bought for a great price at the Black Box wardrobe sale when I worked on that show! There is no shame at all in saving on money, whether or not you wear any designer or no matter how your income is. I personally go for what I like, not brands and own a mix. I am all about pairing high end with low end and choosing design and quality over names which might fall apart too! I paired the open silk shirt with a fairly simple but hip outfit. If I was going to wear this during the day, I'd throw on a hat and some flat sandals. Happy Summer!
