Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me...

Last year I did an end of summer post while shooting on Ben Benson's roof, so maybe it can be an annual thing! The summer weather is nearly over unlike last year where it was barely chilly until November hit. While we have to say goodbye to some summer activities, at least we now can have a true fall this year. I'm excited to go apple picking, drink cider and mulled wine, and eat pumpkin bread and apple pie! September is my favorite month of the year, and autumn in general makes me quite happy. Hoorah for crunchy leaves amidst leather and tweed.

Welcome in the cooler weather by transitioning your summer pieces. Wear tall knit socks like this one with your sandals and sundress. At night you can later a light jacket over the ensemble. It's an interesting time of year for dressing but I love the mix of seasons and layers. As summer comes to an end, I'm already missing the amazing late night sunsets but I'm getting excited for holiday cheer.

Outfit Highlights: Sundress from some hippie store I bought ages ago, Steve Madden heels, and socks from a sock store in Sausalito, California I got on my trip

Style Tip: Transitioning into a new season means mixing your favorite pieces from both min new, interesting ways. This is a unique time of year so take advantage of it!
