NYFW: Art Hearts Fashion at The Highline Hotel

"Mister Triple X" was the first of three designers partaking in the Art Hearts Fashion show last night at The Highline Hotel. Every year, AHF sponsors both AIDS and Make-A-Wish foundations. A host of stylish attendees come out and celebrate fashion for a great cause. The Mister Triple X Spring/Summer collection most notably included black and white colorblocking and fit and flare dresses as well as some tighter pieces. The looks were very sexy overall, and had some S&M Bondage inspirations mixed with a little punk rock. Men were also included in some swim short looks for next season.

The second AHF designer was The House of Byfield, who also included both men and women in their Spring/Summer 2016 show. They used a black and white color palette in florals with some tortoise mixed in. The clothing was very tailored overall, with some flowy dresses for the women. Some of the most interesting pieces included fitted lace shirts for the men, though. The whole collection felt like a modern twist on the 1950's.

Amato was the last designer to present at the AHS event last evening at The Highline Hotel. Their collection was a stunner, with very elegant and embellished clothing, the kind that makes the onlookers ooh and aah. The prints used were gorgeous, in combination with structured draping and very fitted bodices. Models had hair gelled on their faces into "kissing curls" for a fun little touch. Overall, the pieces had an Asian, mostly notably Chinese influence to them. It was a great Spring/Summer 2016 collection to close the evening with!
