NYFW Special: Georgine

Georgine is always one of my favorite shows to attend every season! I adore her feminine yet fashion-forward and interesting use of colors and textures. This season included brocades floral designs mixed with color-blocking in bright hues which was a very unusual combination she pulled off. It's hardly a Georgine show without fur, and this season did not disappoint. With wacky, dramatically long fur stoles the audience could not take their eyes off the models.

My favorite pieces were the brocade coat with colorblocked fur, the dresses with short-sleeves done in fur, and the trenchcoat with leather detailing on the shoulders and back. The accessorizing was done with natural tones and pops of bold, surprising color on the eyes and in the hair. I absolutely adored the t-strap pumps with a thick heel, in both colors and neutrals. The collection overall was very original, yet still largely wearable for Georgine's woman. She definitely knows her target lady that wants to explore her style yet stay classy.
