Sunday, Monday, Happy Days

Thanks to the wonderful people at Johnny Rocket's uptown that let Ben Benson and I take these fun photos! I always thought it would be fun to do a classic diner shoot, and decided since I was going to get my hair a bit teased in a 60's style at a hair salon for my birthday, I would squeeze this in. If you didn't hear, I had a sixties-themed birthday at Fontanas in LES last weekend for my 25th birthday, and have a few photos us on my Instagram!

I'm wearing a pleather skirt with cutouts that my mom gave me for Christmas last year, a Forever 21 top, and have a vintage fur coat. I really miss those awesome Madison, Wisconsin thrift stores! Black oxfords from Kohl's and some cat eyeliner add the final retro touches to this look. In my personal opinion, the 1960's mod era may be the most fun part of fashion in the 1900's and should be done way more often.

Thanks to everyone once again for all of the birthday wishes and for making my day and weekend so special! I have so many truly beautiful souls in my life that I am lucky to surround myself with and be inspired by. In my 25 years I've learned that the most important things in life are honesty and kindness and I hope to continue to live my life in a way that positively affects others while sticking on the path to achieve my goals.
